Borealaspis biformis
Taxonomy
Borealaspis biformis was named by Ludvigsen (1976) [Paratypes: GSC 44231-44235, 44238. Hypotypes: GSC 44236, 44237 (Ludvigsen, 1979)]. Its type specimen is GSC 44230, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Whittaker Formation, Funeral Range, Mackenzie Mountains (C-570), which is in a Rocklandian/Shermanian carbonate limestone in the Whittaker Formation of Canada.
