Taxonomy
Ceraurinella longispina was named by Ludvigsen (1979) [Paratypes: GSC 40413, 40414, 44019, 44021-44032]. Its type specimen is GSC 44018, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is District of Mackenzie Ceraurinella longispina zone, which is in a Blackriveran/Rocklandian carbonate limestone in the Esbataottine & Sunblood Formation of Canada.
