Ceraurus mackenziensis
Taxonomy
Ceraurus mackenziensis was named by Ludvigsen (1979) [Paratypes: GSC 40447, 40448, 44158-44169, 44171-44181, 44120]. Its type specimen is GSC 44156, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is District of Mackenzie Ceraurus mackenziensis zone, which is in an Edenian deep subtidal limestone in the Whittaker Formation of Canada.
