Ceraurus maewestoides
Taxonomy
Ceraurus maewestoides was named by Ludvigsen (1979). Its type specimen is GSC 44142, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is District of Mackenzie Whittakerites planatus zone, which is in a Shermanian/Edenian deep subtidal limestone in the Whittaker Formation of Canada.
