Taxonomy
Curionia was named by Ronchetti and Allasinaz (1965) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Carn Tr Rhae]. It is not extant. Its type is Myoconcha curionii.
It was assigned to Neoleptonidae by Vokes (1980); to Veneroida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Kalenteridae by Ros-Franch et al. (2014) and Kiel (2018).
