Bukkenites strigatus
Taxonomy
Proptychites strigatus was named by Tozer (1961). Its type specimen is GSC 14042 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 32373, Arthaber Creek, Axel Heiberg Island, which is in a Griesbachian marine siliciclastic in the Blind Fiord Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Bukkenites strigatus by Tozer (1994).
