Taxonomy
Wyomingites scapulatus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28144 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 56228, North Gully (MNG), which is in a Dienerian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
