Catochia ornata

Taxonomy
Catochia ornata was named by Fortey (1979) [Paratypes: cranidia, GSC 56828-9; pygidia, GSC 56830-1; librigena, GSC 56832.]. Its type specimen is GSC 56827, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Catoche Formation type section, which is in a Cassinian open shallow subtidal limestone/dolomite in the Catoche Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Catochia.
