Scinocephalus solitecti
Taxonomy
Scinocephalus solitecti was named by Ross (1951) [Paratypes: YPM 18121, 18126-30]. Its type specimen is YPM 18125, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 6, Hillyard's Canyon, Zone "G(2)a", which is in a Tulean shallow subtidal horizon in the Garden City Formation of Idaho. It is the type species of Scinocephalus.
