Taxonomy
Heliomera albata was named by Whittington (1963). Its type specimen is GSC 16259, a cephalon/head, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Alpha Boulder, Table Head, which is in a Whiterockian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in Canada.
