Taxonomy
Proetus (Pudoproetus) hahni was named by Chamberlain (1977). Its type specimen is GSC 44783, a cephalon/head (Cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 56430, Stepanow Creek, Hare Fiord, Ellesmere Island, which is in a Moscovian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Hare Fiord Formation of Canada.
