Murchisonia (Coelocaulus) cybele was named by Perner (1907) [Barrande in Perner 1907]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kosoř near Praha-Radotin, which is in a Gorstian marine horizon in the Kopanina Formation of Czechia.
It was recombined as Coelocaulus cybele by Wagner (2023).
