Taxonomy
Homotelus bromidensis was named by Esker (1964) [Lectotype selected by Shaw 1974]. Its type specimen is OU 3209A (lectotype), an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Anataphrus bromidensis by Ross and Shaw (1972); it was recombined as Vogdesia bromidensis by Shaw (1974).
