Bohaiornis guoi
Taxonomy
Bohaiornis guoi was named by Hu et al. (2011). Its type specimen is LPM B00167, a skeleton, and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Lamadong, Jianchang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China. It is the type species of Bohaiornis.
