Taxonomy
Pareuloma brachymetopa was named by Rasetti (1954) [Paratypes: MCZ 5129, USNM 123462.]. Its type specimen is USNM 123461, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cap-des-Rosiers, Gaspe, which is in a Trempealeauan/Gasconadian carbonate grainstone/shale in the Anse du Crapaud Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Pareuloma.
