Taxonomy
Trochonema hesione was named by Perner (1907) [Trochonema Hesione]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kosov quarry locality (Dlouhá Hora), Kopanina Fm, which is in a Ludlow deep subtidal limestone in the Kopanina Formation of the Czech Republic.
It was recombined as Berouniconcha hesione by Wagner (2023).
