Gaudeamus aegyptius
Taxonomy
Gaudeamus aegyptius was named by Wood (1968). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quarry I (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt. It is the type species of Gaudeamus.
