Taxonomy
Isoteloides saxosimontis was named by Dean (1989) [Paratypes: GSC 62364-66, 62368-75]. Its type specimen is GSC 62367, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC locality 92309, Outram Fm., Biozone J, Alberta, Canada - Dean 1989, which is in a Tremadoc slope limestone in the Outram Formation of Canada.
