Millardicurus armatus
Taxonomy
Hystricurus armatus was named by Poulsen (1937). Its type specimen is MGUH 3641, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 3, Andrée Land, which is in a Tremadocian carbonate limestone in the Cass Fjord Formation of Greenland.
It was recombined as Millardicurus armatus by Adrain and Westrop (2006).
