Bearriverops alsacharovi
Taxonomy
Bearriverops alsacharovi was named by Adrain and Westrop (2007) [Includes "Hystricurus sp. C Ross" illustrated by Hintze p. 166, pl. 6, fig. 15, but not fig. 16]. Its type specimen is SUI 99936, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Section G 26.6-27.0, which is in a Stairsian shallow subtidal horizon in the Fillmore Formation of Utah.
