Taxonomy
Mullericeras fergusoni was named by Ware et al. (2011). Its type specimen is NMMNH P-62180 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Candelaria JJ17-08, which is in a Dienerian offshore shale in the Candelaria Formation of Nevada.
