Anomocephalus africanus
Taxonomy
Anomocephalus africanus was named by Modesto et al. (1999). Its type specimen is BP/1/5582, a partial skull (Right side of skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Farm Vleikraal (Lower), which is in a Wordian terrestrial mudstone in the Abrahamskraal Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Anomocephalus.
