Jeffersonia jenni

Taxonomy
Jeffersonia jenni was named by Cullison (1944). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is M. S. M. 75.28. Highway 25 down to Crystal City Glass Workers Country Club., which is in a Cassinian carbonate dolomite/chert in the Cotter Formation of Missouri.

Synonyms
  • Jeffersonia angustimarginata was named by Boyce (1989) [Paratypes: NFM F-265, F-153.]. Its type specimen is NFM F-87, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BH-95A-114, which is in a Cassinian peritidal lime mudstone/wackestone in the Catoche Formation of Canada.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Jeffersonia jenni by Loch (2007).
