Amphekepubis johnsoni
Taxonomy
Amphekepubis johnsoni was named by Mehl (1930). Its type specimen is University of Missouri No. 509 V.P., a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East of Monterey, which is in a Coniacian/Santonian marine claystone in the San Felipe Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Amphekepubis.
