Blacktops longinares
Taxonomy
Blacktops longinares was named by Meehan and Martin (2010). Its type specimen is UNSM 49038, a skull (nearly complete skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UNSM Sx-6 (Orella C), which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Brule Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Blacktops.
