Asiatherium reshetovi
Taxonomy
Asiatherium reshetovi was named by Trofimov and Szalay (1994). Its type specimen is PIN 3907, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Udan-Sayr (PIN Loc. 3907) [MPE/SMPE], which is in a Campanian terrestrial sandstone/sandstone in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Asiatherium.
