Taxonomy
Fenestella texana was named by Girty (1909). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 2969 green, southern Delaware Mountains, which is in a Roadian/Capitanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Delaware Mountain Formation of Texas.
