Sargentina transita

Ostracoda - Palaeocopida - Serenididae

Taxonomy
Italogeisina transita was named by Kozur (1985). Its type specimen is P 1407/Ko 1980 I-510 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nagyvisnyo 4 borehole, Mihalovits quarry, sample Nv 4/20, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Nagyvisnyo Formation of Hungary.

It was recombined as Sargentina transita by Crasquin-Soleau (1999), Crasquin-Soleau et al. (2004), Honigstein and Rosenfeld (2005).
