Taxonomy
Kileskus aristotocus was named by Averianov et al. (2010). Its type specimen is ZIN PH 5/117, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Berezovsk Quarry, which is in a Bathonian fluvial claystone in the Itat Formation of the Russian Federation.
