Stenoscisma schlotheimi
Taxonomy
Terebratula schlotheimii was named by von Buch (1835). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Glücksbrunn, Thuringen, which is in a Wuchiapingian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Zechstein Formation of Germany.
It was corrected as Terebratula schlotheimi by de Verneuil (1845); it was recombined as Camarophoria schlotheimi by King (1850), Howse (1857), Davidson (1858), Geinitz (1861), Astre (1934); it was recombined as Stenoscisma schlotheimi by Grant (1965).
