Disphenia myiodes
Taxonomy
Disphenia myiodes was named by Grant (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 425000 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM9260, Episkopi, Hydra Island, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine packstone/wackestone in the Episkopi Formation of Greece. It is the type species of Disphenia.
