Helcionella explanata

Taxonomy
Papilloconus explanatus was named by Feng et al. (2000). Its type specimen is NIGP 132055, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yulu, Huize, which is in a Meishucunian/Nemakit-Daldynian marine phosphorite in the Zhujiaqing Formation of China.

It was recombined as Helcionella explanata by Demidenko and Parkhaev (2006).
