Taxonomy
Fanichonetes minusculus was named by Afanasjeva et al. (2011). Its type specimen is PIN 5347/13, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Yeongweol Coalfield, which is in a Sakmarian coastal shale in the Pamchi Formation of South Korea.
