Otoceras woodwardi
Taxonomy
Otoceras woodwardi was named by Griesbach (1880). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shalshal Cliff, Bed 2, Rimkin Paiar, which is in a Griesbachian offshore limestone in India. It is the type species of Otoceras, Otoceras (Otoceras).
It was recombined as Otoceras (Otoceras) woodwardi by Arkell et al. (1957).
