Taxonomy
Corbula donaciformis was named by Nyst (1836). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Aloides (Lentidium) donaciformis by Glibert and de Heinzelin (1954); it was recombined as Lentidium donaciforme by Glibert and Van de Poel (1966); it was recombined as Lentidium (Lentidium) donaciforme by Neuffer and Kuster-Wendenburg (1977); it was recombined as Lentidium (Ajanssenium) donaciforme by Marquet et al. (2008).
