Taxonomy
Petasobairdia collini was named by Forel (2011). Its type specimen is P6M2615, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tulong 06Ti30, which is in an Aegean deep subtidal lime mudstone in the Tulong Formation of China.
