Parahongshanornis chaoyangensis
Taxonomy
Parahongshanornis chaoyangensis was named by Li et al. (2011). Its type specimen is PMOL-AB00161, a partial skeleton, and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Yuanjiawa, Dapingfang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large mudstone/marl in the Jiufotang Formation of China. It is the type species of Parahongshanornis.
