Tsaganohyus pecus
Taxonomy
Tsaganohyus pecus was named by Kondrashov et al. (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 3104-479, a mandible (left dentary fragment with dp4-m1 and c-p3 alveoli), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsagan Khushu Quarry 1 (PIN coll. 3104) [SMPE], which is in a Bumbanian terrestrial gravel in the Naran Bulak Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Tsaganohyus.
