Taxonomy
Nevadella was named by Raw (1936) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Atda-u Sepkoski's reference number: 81]. It is not extant. Its type is Callavia eucharis.
It was assigned to Nevadioidea by Lieberman (2001); to Olenellida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Nevadiidae by Palmer and Repina (1993), Whittington et al. (1997) and Bushuev et al. (2014).

Preglabellar field short (sag.) or absent. Basal glabellar width about equal to width of extraocular area opposite midlength of ocular lobe. Posterior tips of ocular lobes opposite Ll. Width of interocular area more than one-fourth width of extraocular area opposite midlength of ocular lobe. Thorax of 17 to 23 segments. Pleural spines long, falcate. Opisthothorax not clearly differentiated. Pygidium small, subquad rate. |
