Retispira textiliformis

Taxonomy
Bellerophon textiliformis was named by Gurley (1883). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kansas City, Hertha Limestone, which is in a Missourian marine limestone in the Hertha Formation of Missouri.

It was recombined as Bucanopsis textiliformis by Weller (1929), Sayre (1930); it was recombined as Knightites (Retispira) textiliformis by Yochelson (1960), Yochelson and Saunders (1967); it was recombined as Knightites (Cymatospira) textiliformis by Hoare et al. (1997); it was recombined as Retispira textiliformis by Knight (1945), Wagner (2023).
