Taxonomy
Anisotrypella radix was named by Lisitsyn (1991). Its type specimen is PIN 4222/797 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nelynya-Shor Creek, Adz'va River, Nelynya-Shor Formation, which is in a Sakmarian marine horizon in the Nelynya-shor Formation of the Russian Federation.
