Taxonomy
Waagenoconcha parvispinosa was named by Cooper (1957). Its type specimen is USNM 125353 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UO 636, "Lunch Creek", Grindstone-Twelvemile Creek area, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone/sandstone in the Coyote Butte Formation of Oregon.
