Wutingaspis was named by Kobayashi (1944) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Boto-l]. It is not extant. Its type is Wutingaspis tingi.
It was assigned to Redlichiidae by Whittington et al. (1997); and to Redlichiida by Sepkoski (2002).
