Aspidosaurus glascocki
Taxonomy
Aspidosaurus glascocki was named by Case (1910). Its type specimen is AMNH 4864, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cox's Camp, 17 (Belle Plains Formation), which is in an Artinskian terrestrial claystone/limestone in the Belle Plains Formation of Texas.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Berman and Lucas (2003).
