Brachyzostrodon maior
Taxonomy
Brachyzostrodon maior was named by Hahn et al. (1991). Its type specimen is RAS 1020W, a tooth (right lower molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Saint-Nicolas-de-Port, which is in a Rhaetian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Grès à Avicula contorta Formation of France.
