Bonnaria was named by Lochman (1956) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Atda-u Cm Boto-l Sepkoski's reference number: 80]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Corynexochida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Dorypygidae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
