Mansuyites was named by Shergold (1971) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Fran-u Sepkoski's reference number: 16]. It is not extant. Its type is Mansuyites futiliformis.

It was assigned to Mansuyiinae by Shergold (1971); to Corynexochida by Sepkoski (2002); to Kaolishaniidae by Zhou and Zhen (2008); and to Ceronocarinae by Wernette et al. (2020).
