Taxonomy
Isoxys volucris was named by Williams et al. (1996). Its type specimen is MGUH 23082, a carapace (complete, open carapace), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is 340103. Sirius Passet, which is in an Atdabanian open shallow subtidal shale in the Buen Formation of Greenland.
