Taxonomy
Retispira strictocanalicula was named by Wang (1980) [Wang in Wang & Xi 1980]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Heilajia Section Z12, Liuzhi County, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siliciclastic in the Longtan Formation of China.
