Bitaunioceras undulatum
Taxonomy
Bitaunioceras undulatum was named by Niko and Nishida (1987). Its type specimen is UMUT PM 17973 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mizuyagadani Valley, Volcanic Sandstone, Fukuji District, Gifu Prefecture, which is in a Sakmarian marine sandstone/mudstone in the Mizuyagadani Formation of Japan.
